Why need to replace the trunk latch?
- The trunk lock wouldn't engage on the actual hook down the bottom
- The rear Trunk latch can't be closed, lock or unlocked remotely
- The original latch actuator was broken/damaged
How to install rear trunk lid lock latch actuator?
- Remove the guard plate.
- Take trunk release cable and side pin, loosen 2 10 millimeters bolts.
- Link the new latch and tight bolts, connect the cable and pin.
