1.Design
Definition - General intended outward appearance of the watch. It includes such things as the shapes, curves, sizes, choice of materials and finishing, and the combination and placement of features and parts. Certain functional considerations should also be satisfactorily well conceived.(Weighting - 30%)
2.Watch Case
Definition - Quality of the watch case. It includes such things as the material used e.g. a stainless watch case is superior to a zamac plated one, and a sapphire crystal is superior to a piece of glass; the execution of the finishing i.e. no scratches or pits; and the execution of the intended shapes and curves e.g. symmetry and clarity in edges and angles.(Weighting - 20%)
3.Watch Bracelet
Definition - Quality of the watch bracelet and the buckle or clasp. Firstly it concerns the materials used, e.g. a stainless bracelet is superior to a faux-leather one, and a deployment buckle is better than a fold over clasp. Further it relates to the execution of mechanical processing such as the curves, edges and finishing of the bracelet.(Weighting - 20%)
4.Packaging
