This is a must buy item because now you can charge batteries without having to be hooked up to the charge cord. Simply swap out your dead battery with a charged one and start playing, then put your dead battery in this and plug in the charge cord. There is an indicator light that is RED while charging and turns GREEN when charging is complete. Because there isn't an auto off feature, don't charge your batteries and then leave thinking it will shut off when full...this could damage your stuff. Plus it only takes about an hour to charge anyways. Definately worth the 3 dollars.
