- I was attracted to these clocks because of:
- The excellent prompt service from SourcingMap! I've experienced previously
- The great price ($4.99)
- The low shipping cost
- The temperature read-out feature
- The fact that the clock had its own light
- The fact that it uses common AA batteries which should last a long time (compared to small button cells).
It took me a while to realize that the middle buttons on each side of the clock don't actually do anything...they appear to be entirely decorative. It also took a while to work out how to make sure the alarm won't go off when you don't want it to..... you have to keep on pressing the 'set' button in the alarm mode until the alarm time disappears and the numbers are replaced by horizontal lines.
The thing that I like the least about this model of clock is that it 'beeps' when I press the light button. This is really only a problem if somebody is trying to sleep nearby. One way to partially overcome this is to place some thick plastic adhesive tape over the speaker slots near the bottom of the clock.
So am I happy with these clocks?....Yes, I am. I guess I should perhaps have waited for a few months before posting this review just to make sure that they perform well over a long time. However I wanted to express my gratitude for a good deal...and I feel fairly confident that they will be just fine.
