This loupe is perfect for inspecting small areas where bright lighting is necessary. We use them for reading part numbers off of surface mount components and inspecting the soldering on circuit boards and they work quite well. The illumination is just right and 20x provides good magnification. The on/off switch is a bit loose, but it works solidly.
Definitely worth the 6$USD.
