What tools are included with the player and how do you install and use them?The CD supplied with the player contains the following tools:
1) AMV Convert Tool - for converting movies from AVI and other supported formats to AMV format suitable for playing on the player,
2) AMV Player - for testing and playing the converted AMV movies on a PC, and
3) Sound Convert Tool - to convert the voice recording from this player to WAV format for playing on a PC.
To install the tools:
1) Insert the CD into your CD-ROM drive
2) Run Setup.exe on the CD, and follow the onscreen instructions to complete installation.
To use the tools:
1) Click Start -> Program -> MP3 Player Utilities.
2) Choose AMV Convert Tool for movie conversion. Please notice the tool only supports the specified source file formats.
3) Choose AMV Player to preview converted files before uploading to the player.
4) Choose Sound Convert Tool to convert the player's recorded voice files to WAV format for playing on a computer.
5) The Disk Tool and Upgrade Tool are not supported. They are repair tools only for advanced users for disk partitioning and firmware restoring. If used improperly, they may damage the files and firmware, which can only be repaired by the manufacturer. Please do not use them unless you know how to use them absolutely correctly.

If the warranty has expired, simply purchase a replacement glass screen on this site. They are very inexpensive. Replacing the glass screen is easy to do. All you have to do is cleaning the edges properly and sticking it on. Why is the MP3 player restarting itself repeatedly? There could be a few causes for this. Please follow the following steps in sequence:
1. Replace the battery with a new one. If this does not solve the problem, continue to the next step.
2. Connect the player to the computer and format the player's corresponding drive. Be sure to specify FAT format, not FAT32 or NTFS.

Why does the PC not recognize the MP3/4 Player when connected via USB cable?On the PC, the player should appear as a Removable Disk in the My Computer window when connected via the USB cable. If not, check that the USB (Universal Serial Bus) Controller is functioning normally, and reinstall the USB Controller driver if necessary. Consult you PC's manual for doing this. Also, find the driver in Control Panel -> System -> Hardware -> Device Manager -> Universal Serial Bus Controllers and check that it's installed and enabled, with no red X or yellow question mark next to it. The player is not showing the lyrics for songs.Make sure the lyric files for the songs are in .lrc format and are downloaded to your player along with the music files. You can also create lyric files with the lyric editing tool included on the CD supplied with the player or downloadable here. How can you use the MP3 player while connected to the PC's USB port for power?You must tell the computer to "Safely Remove" the player without physically disconnecting the cable between the computer and the player. If the player is connected to the computer, there will be an icon in the lower right corner of the Windows desktop that is used to safely remove USB devices. Right click the icon and select "Safely Remove USB Mass Storage Device" to do so. Once Windows reports that it's safe to remove the hardware, you may press the Menu key on the player to use it (despite still being connected to the computer for power). The MP3/MP4 player is showing a "Disk error" message. 1. Connect the player to the USB port of the computer using the cable supplied with the player.

5. Set "File System" to "FAT", not "FAT32".

How do you reformat the player?Connect the player to the PC, right click on the player's corresponding Removable Disk, choose Format, and then choose FAT (not FAT32 or NTFS). Many "Disk Error" messages can be resolved with a reformat. Why is the conversion tool not showing in English?Please check the computer's language setting by navigating on the computer to Control Panel -> Regional and Language Options -> choose English, and choose English in the Advance Tab also. Restart your PC. When should I upgrade the firmware? The firmware tool should not be used unless the player's firmware is damaged. As there are no new firmware upgrades available currently, the firmware upgrade function should be used only to restore the firmware if it is damaged. Run the upgrade tool with the player connected to the PC. Choose the firmware file when the upgrade tool asks for it. Please do not to use the firmware upgrade tool unless absolutely needed. If it's not used correctly, the player will have to be sent back to factory for reconditioning, which may take 3 to 6 weeks. Why is a 2GB player only holding 700MB of songs or only about 200 songs?Please put songs in different folders, and do not exceed 500MB for each folder. The firmware in some players is designed to be optimized for playing songs, and it's more practical to store songs in subfolders categorized in genre, author or singer, etc. If all 500 songs are stored in the root directory, they cannot be cycled through with a fully charged battery. What is the basic operating guide for the Telephone Book on an MP3 player? Editing the telephone book and importing it into the MP3 player
1. Connect the MP3 player to the computer using the cable supplied with the player.
2. On the CD supplied with the player, navigate to the Telephone Book folder and run the program Telbook-LHD.exe. You may also download the program by clicking here.
3. Edit the desired phone book and click Save.
4. In the Save window, change the destination directory to the root directory of the MP3 player, which is shown as a removable disk under My Computer. The file name must be telbook and the file type .bin. Click Save.
5. Unplug the mp3 player and turn it on.
6. On the player, navigate to TeleBook/Import and click the Mode button.
7. The import is complete when the player displays "Success."
Accessing the phone book in the MP3 player
1. On the player, navigate to the TelBook menu icon and click the Mode button.
2. Click on the Browse Tel icon to show the contact name lists on the Telephone Book.
3. Move the Mode button right or left to switch among the phone book lists.
4. Push the Play button to open the details of a contact.
5. Move the Mode button up or down to scroll through the contact's details such as Email or Phone Number.
