This is a fun toy to play. I got it for my 2,5 year old daughter, she loves it, she chases it, she already got how to control the mouse , she even tried feeding it milk, so she is happy, so I am. This toy definitely keeps my child busy and gives me couple minutes of rest. The product arrived quick enough, good package, no problems. We use the mouse indoors on hardwood floors. It doesn't run on the carpet. I haven't used it outside, my guess is it won't run on anything rather than smooth surface. This mouse runs forward straight and in circles backwards, no other detections, which is fine with me and my child. I would say it is rather noisy than quiet. Price was also very good
