Pros: I got this laser a couple of days ago and it's great. It is really good in lit up rooms. It doesn't go a mile but it goes about 1000 + feet. Although it has a small dot, like half the size of a normal laser, it is really bright so the size doesn't really matter. This laser is amazing at pointing in people's house's. My neighbor across the street (about 200 feet away) can easily see it in his house while the lights are on. Not only is this an awsom laser it has a really good price. I definatly think you should buy this laser and you won't be disapointed at all. The shipping is good because I live on the eastern side of the United States, and it took 9-10 days to get here

Pros: Powerful, focused dot, quite bright, and good quality aluminum contruction. The lens (focus) is adjustable.
Cons: The beam of the laser I got exits the lens at a small angle (you don't notice unless you're playing "sniper"), so don't use this as a laser level. It is not weatherproof nor dustproof. The front removable chrome cap doesn't have a glass/lens, just a hole. Furthermore, there are slits where the clip is attached and when you use the laser at nighttime, you can see them.
Other thought: For my laser, I had to adjust the focus in order to get the smallest dot at long range, but it was easy to do. The quality is quite good for a laser that's priced so cheaply, but as with most China-made (is this made in China? I think so...) goods, the quality can be better. By the way, I wonder why it states here that visibility is over 1 mile... My guess is that "visibility" means the distance at which you can see the laser when it's pointing directly at you (but it clearly states to avoid eye contact with the beam). Don't expect to be able to see a dot one mile away... I don't think you will :)
